June was full of family and friends. I had a wedding in Florence on June 11th. That weekend was a lot of fun. It was great to see a different group of friends. On June 18th, Temp and I went to my 10 year high school reunion. I can't believe we've been out of high school 10 years. We had a wonderful time. We got to see lots of friends and familiar faces! And it's always fun to catch up with old classmates.

We took a trip to Chicago the next weekend. This was our first time in the city together as sightseers. Temp had visited before to see friends Webb and Tate Wilson. We went to the top of the John Hancock building, walked through Millennium Park, and visited Navy Pier. We ate at some amazing restaurants! The feel of Chicago is just so laid back. We loved it. We can't wait to go back with my family in July!

We are visiting the beer garden at Navy Pier.
This is the building that is in lots of movies. (I'm not sure what it's called.)
Then it was time for the annual 4th of July Beach Trip! We made it to the beach about midnight Friday night. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday were filled with sunbathing on the beach, great food, good times with family, and of course, fireworks!

On July 5th, we flew from the beach to Chicago to see U2 in concert! It was amazing! The stage was enormous and the lighting and effects during the show were incredible. If you ever get the chance to see U2, take it. It was unbelievable!

We had a great June and are looking forward to a very eventful July!
